2. Flying Star chart (玄空飛星). Mapping the annual and monthly flying stars onto your floor plan to identify which sectors carry prosperity energy, health risks, relationship tension, or career blocks in the current period.
3. External environment assessment (形煞). What is outside your windows matters as much as what is inside. A sharp building corner pointing at your bedroom window, a power line crossing your front door — these external forms override internal arrangements.
4. Element balance check. Counting the five elements present in each room — too much Fire in the kitchen, too much Water in the bedroom — and recommending adjustments that actually address the imbalance, not just add decoration.
5. Written report with prioritized corrections. You receive a document with your floor plan marked, each issue rated by severity, and specific corrections in priority order. "Change this first, then this, then this" — so you are not overwhelmed with twenty changes at once.

What a Birth Chart Reading Reveals

A BaZi reading is sometimes called an "astrology reading" but it is not Western astrology. It is a destiny map derived from your birth time, analyzed through the five elements and their interactions.

A complete Birth Chart reading answers:

• Your elemental composition. Are you a strong Fire person who needs Water to balance? Or a weak Wood person who needs Water to grow? Your element balance explains your energy patterns.
• Your personal favorable directions. Which compass direction activates prosperity specifically for you? This is different from the generic southeast wealth corner — it is calculated from your Day Master.
• Your current Luck Pillar (十年大運). Every ten years, a new elemental combination governs your life. You may be in a favorable decade now or entering a challenging one — knowing which changes how you plan.
• Relationship compatibility. BaZi can assess whether two people's charts support or deplete each other. This is not about "good match / bad match" — it is about understanding the dynamic so you can work with it consciously.

How to Spot a Genuine Classical Reading

The internet is full of "Feng Shui consultants." Here is how to know if someone practices classical Feng Shui — or just interior decorating with Chinese words:

• They ask for your floor plan with compass readings. No floor plan? No reading. Without knowing the orientation, no legitimate consultant can give space advice.
• They ask for your birth date and time. Personal energy matters. A consultant who gives the same advice to everyone — "put a mirror here, buy a crystal there" — is not practicing classical Feng Shui.
• They can explain why. Real consultants can walk you through the reasoning: "The annual 5 Yellow star sits in your east sector this year, and your front door faces east, so we need to address this before anything else." If they cannot name the star or the sector, the advice is generic.
• They deliver a written report. A verbal consultation is a conversation. A professional reading includes a document you can reference later — with your chart, your floor plan, and specific recommendations.

"一命二運三風水" — First, destiny. Second, luck cycles. Third, Feng Shui. This is the classical order: your chart comes first, your timing second, and your environment third. No Feng Shui adjustment overrides a fundamentally mismatched destiny cycle.

1. For a Space Scan: Prepare a floor plan with room labels. Take photos of each room from the doorway. Note any external features visible from your windows. Have a compass app ready on your phone — or better, a physical compass.
2. For a Birth Chart: Confirm your exact birth time with family or records. Know the city of birth (not just the country — BaZi calculations are longitude-sensitive).
3. For an Energy Reading: Formulate one clear question. Not "tell me about my life" — but "should I accept this job offer in Singapore, or stay in my current position?" Specific questions produce actionable answers.
